Artwork and copyright policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
You must have the rights to your artwork
When you send us artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission from the owner to print it. This includes logos, brand names, characters, photos, fonts and song lyrics. Printing someone else's work without permission can break copyright and trade mark law, even for a small private run.
You agree to cover any loss, cost or claim we face because artwork you supplied infringes someone else's rights.
What we won't print
- Artwork that copies or imitates another business's logo, brand, characters or designs without permission, including sports teams, bands, film and TV, and fashion brands.
- Artwork that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, threatening or discriminatory.
- Sexually explicit content.
- Personal information about another person without their consent.
We may ask for proof of permission before printing. If we decline an order for any of these reasons, we refund any amount you've paid.
Who owns what
- You keep ownership of your artwork.
- You permit us to use your artwork only to prepare proofs and produce your order.
- We'll only show your printed tees in our marketing or social media if you agree. Just tell us if you're happy for us to share them.
- If we redraw or clean up your artwork, you can use the improved file for your order and reorders with us. Ask us if you'd like the file to use elsewhere.
File guidelines
- Best: vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) or a PNG with a transparent background.
- For photos and detailed artwork, aim for at least 300 dpi at your chosen print size. Our product page shows the dpi of your file at the size you set.
- Low-resolution or screenshot files are fine to send. We'll check them for free and tell you if they need fixing or redrawing.
- Thin lines under 1 mm and very small text under 6 pt may not print clearly.
How long we keep files
We keep your artwork for 12 months after your order so reorders are easy. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
